Let it linger.
We named Ama in homage to mothers and caregivers of all kinds.
Ama or आमा, is the Nepali word for mother. At Ama, we honor those who nurtured and fed us, reclaiming the skills and techniques passed down over generations. Our plates are filled with underappreciated ingredients, gently transforming familiar flavors into uncommon bites. We invite guests to linger and reimagine nourishment that goes beyond the plate.

About Ama
Ama is the newest restaurant from Pearl & Law Hospitality, a hospitality group founded by Biplaw Rai and Nyacko Pearl Perry. Pearl & Law Hospitality is also the home of Comfort Kitchen, named “Best New Restaurant” by Boston Magazine and The Boston Globe, one of the top 50 in the country by The New York Times, and nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation.
Pearl & Law Hospitality was established to create deeply intentional dining experiences. We honor the roots, stories, and daily life that shape our food, our team, and our spaces. Our restaurants bring people home to themselves and to one another.
